I just stumbled upon this while looking up info about Vince. Vincent Beazley was my mother’s first cousin. He was named after his cousin, who died in WW1. He was very close to his brother and my uncle, Harry Beazley. Uncle Harry and Vince signed up together. Uncle Harry and Vince’s brother, Frank, both survived the war.
I knew Vince’s widow, Rita and she was a very sweet and kind woman. She passed away a few months ago. I bet she would have appreciated that you did your assignment about Vince.
I loved reading it and will be sure to let my mother know. She remembers Vince well and often speaks of him.
