The age of exploitation.
In this post I will be talking about what I learned in the age of exploration. We first started with talking about important and notable explorers, to understand what we know today. We then learned about and drew important tools they used back in the age of exploration. Our final project was a AR video that explained all of the learning of the age of exploration
Our driving question is “How can we use storytelling to investigate what sparked global exploration and understand its impact?”
Character’s Journey: Follow a protagonist’s journey during the Age of Exploration, highlighting their motivations and encounters.
Motivations and Impact: Explore the reasons behind global exploration, such as the pursuit of wealth and the desire for adventure, and showcase its impact on both explorers and indigenous peoples.
Cultural Exchange: Illustrate the cultural exchange facilitated by exploration through the protagonist’s interactions with people from different regions.
Reflections: Include moments of personal reflection for the protagonist to contemplate the moral and ethical implications of exploration.
Historical Context: Provide brief historical context to deepen understanding of the time period and its significance.
Through this condensed storytelling approach, audiences can gain insights into the motivations, impact, and consequences of global exploration.
