Comically Crappy

Comic Cells

The goal of this project was to create a comic, on the subject of diseases, viruses, and infections. I chose to make a comic about tapeworms.

Terrifying tale of the tapeworm

Questioning and predicting: Demonstrate a sustained curiosity about a scientific topic or problem of personal interest.

I could have used my class time more efficiently, but I got everything done with good quality. So I think I did pretty well.

Scientific communication: communicate ideas, findings, and solutions to problems using scientific language, representations, and digital technologies

I showed a solid demonstration of this, as my comic was of upper quality, and used good vocabulary. It uses a good understanding of the material, and the app ComicLife. Another example of this, is my wanted poster. I displayed the knowledge of tapeworms, while portraying them as a character on a wanted poster.

Evaluating: Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of evidence

While making my comic, I showed my understanding of the scientific concepts, by including over ten scientific words.
