In the last project of the year, we learned all about World War One. We learned about how theres contrast between the glory and the gore found in WW1.
Making a Museum
The final product of this project was to create a museum exhibit to present at the spring exhibition. My topic was internment camps, so I made three display panels talking about them. Making things is a passion of mine, so I was really happy to get the opportunity to build a physical exhibit. A problem I quickly ran into at the exhibition was that the walls were covered in paper, so I wouldn’t be able to tape my panels onto the wall. I solved this by hanging my panels by string from the ceiling.
Conclusion
Overall this project went really well, and I’m proud of the work I did. I really enjoyed the conversations I had with guests, and I feel like this was a great end to the year.
