Hello this is a new kind of post. This one is about science.
💉Understanding Vaccines: A Vital Tool for Public Health💉
Vaccines have been one of the most significant advancements in modern medicine, saving millions of lives annually and helping to eradicate or control many infectious diseases. Understanding how vaccines work, their benefits, and the importance of vaccination can empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and contribute to the overall well-being of society. People also think vaccines cause autism. But they are so wrong! Autism is a disability from birth. I made an ad to prove that vaccines don’t cause autism.
That ad was my favourite because it is my style and the colours look really nice together. Other mini projects we did was the bacteria slides. Now they were funky! When the weeks went by the turned out to me so gross! They also smelt like spoiled mink and meat. It was nasty! Here are some photos!
this was the bottom of my shoe there where many different colours and shapes. I tossed those shoes out! We also did many other experiments. But this one was by far the best one. In this one we had to find a surface to swab. For me I chose the bottom of my shoe because I thought it would be really disgusting. It was. Over a couple of days you could start to see the growth on the sides but then over a couple of weeks it was like a rainforest of life. It’s crazy how you can’t see anything on your shoes that is visible to the eye. But if you were to put your shoe under a microscope it would be amazing to see how much bacteria called your shoe home. Now to answer the driving question How does our knowledge of cell biology contribute to public health? To answer that question I think our knowledge help public health because scientists can help people get better of prevent people from getting sick. They can also teach people that a getting vaccinated will actually help.
