Week 8

Week 8! Yay finally finished. I didnt really enjoy this experience because I’ve already done the Student Blogging Challenge once before. I also found it to be an assignment that I never really completed on time and put off for other work.

My future plans for my blog are to keep using if for school posts.

And now a meme because why not.

Week 10 Challenge

Week 10! It seems such a long time ago when we started. I enjoyed the challenge, though I am not sure if I would do it again because it was time consuming and a bit boring at times. One thing I learnt from this process was how to write a post or a comment correctly, I hope to be able to use this skill for the rest of my life.

I am now going to try to answer all of the post prompts in under three sentences.

1) How many weeks of the challenge did you participate in?

I managed to participate in all 10 of the challenges.

2) How many posts did you write in the ten week period?

I wrote 15 posts over ten weeks (this post included).

3) How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers, or other visitors?

I received 6 comments over the period of ten weeks.

4) Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?

The post I enjoyed most was the week 6 post; science, my favourite subject in school.

5) Which web tools did you use to show creativity on your blog?

I tried to use all, and I think I seceded in doing that.

6)  What are your plans for your blog now? Will you keep posting?

I plan to use my blog for posts on my schoolwork. And yes I will try to keep posting regularly.

  1. There. I think I manged to to answer all six of the post prompts in under three sentences. If you haven’t seen my other posts please check them out, and comment.

Week 9 Challenge

For my hour of code I chose to use code to recreate my version of the game, Flappy bird. Since I had done hour of code and other activity’s like it I decided to play around with the code. Click “Here” for the link to the game, comment your highest score. See if you can figure out the trick to winning.

(This screenshot won’t help, I changed the code)

Writing in code is fun!

THIS LINK IS CODED SO YOU CAN NEVER HIT THE BOTTOM (though many have died trying)

Week 8 Challenge

For my week 8 challenge I chose to redecorate part of my blog (see if you can find what I did), and make a holiday craft.

How I made the holiday craft; I found a small circulr piece of wood and used a circular saw to cut a 1 cm thick slice off the wood. Then I removed the bark and sanded the piece of wood, and drew the design that I wanted in pencil. The final step was to wood burn the areas that I had previously drew on, as to create the design I wanted.

Week 6 blogging Chalenge

Task 1:

I chose to do my week 6 blog post on aeronautics. Aeronautics is the science or art involved with the study, design, and manufacturing of air flight capable machines, and the techniques of operating aircraft and rockets within the atmosphere. The term originally referred to operating the aircraft, it has since been expanded to include business, technology and other aspects related to aircraft.

I chose aeronautics because I have always have loved airplanes, engineering, mathematics and physics. To me, aeronautics is all of those things combined.

Task: 2

Task: 3
