Hi there welcome to my blog! Today i will be discussing a little.bit about history and a little big about how to curate and build an exhibit.

 What makes a museum a museum?

A museum is filled with facts and artifacts that help send a message to an audience usually through art or as I already said artifacts. If you feel as if you have learned or have had your mindset change or the way you view things once you visited a ‘museum’ they have done their job! My task was to learn about indigenous snipes so of course I’m gonna pick Francis Pegahmagabow. Here’s the slideshow I presented.

And of course since with some projects I decide that I wanna go over and above I decided to make a paper mache statue of him. It took a lot of revising with such a short period of time. I’ve learnt to maybe not think beyond whats possible In short amounts of time since it was very time consuming and the materials consisted of cardboard a lot of paint, glue, water and a lot of napkins. 

Anyways I thought it was really cool to learn all about Peggy and his heritage thanks for visiting
