For the past while in Maker we have been doing DI (Destination Imagination) if you don’t know what DI is you can check out my post from last year or the DI website. DI is very team based. My team was Lucy, Kyle, Jordyn, Jackson and myself. Of corse no team is complete without a team name ours being Sea Hippos.

This year we got to chose what challenge we would complete my team chose the fine arts challenge. Watch this short video that explains this years fine arts challenge:

As you saw our challenge had five main parts to it. Here’s how our team decided to solve each part:

Most of these ideas we came up with in a fun brain storming activity where we all wrote our ideas on pieces of paper, sorted them, and decided from there.

We ended up winning the main challenge and the instant challenge. There was only one other team in our category at regionals, they were the PLP students in grade 10. So far DI has been fun and I will be making another post after provincials.
