For the past while in Scimatics we have been learning about asexual reproduction. My partner for this project was gabby. We started by cloning dandelions that we took from around the school. After that we a stared cloning our own plants we tried to clone radishes but it didn’t work. We then made slides out of garlic:
Here are the curricular competency’s for this class as usual
- Collaboratively and individually plan, select, and use appropriate investigation methods, including field work and lab experiments, to collect reliable data (qualitative and quantitative): we did this when we were cloning and creating slide out of our plants.
- Select and use appropriate equipment, including digital technologies, to systematically and accurately collect and record data: we did this when we made slides out of the plants we grow.
- Transfer and apply learning to new situations: we did this when we stared actually cloning things after we had only learned about it.
