It’s The End Of The World As We Known It Post 

Did you want to go into plp. Well I did but nobody ever told me i would have to sing. A song I made up with my group. Then I found out I had to post my singing to the public on YouTube.

We mostly focused on different worldviews for this project. Our own worldview versus the outsiders worldview. A few small tasks we did within the project were the following. 

READING THE OUTSIDERS AND COMPETING ROLE SHEETS

We would be in a group and have different assignments. Sometimes we would be drawing a picture that was relevant to the book and other times we would be writing a paragraph about a quote in the book. We would share it with our groups and get their feedback. 

REFECTION:

These role sheets we had to do every week and I feel like at the start I was rusty and my work was very bad but by the end I was able to do way better with my reflections and descriptions. 

WORLDVIEW MIND NOTE

In this assignment we had categories and we were suppost to write our worldview on the topics. There was society and values for an example. There was no wrong answer because it was our own worldview. The outcome of this assignment was so we couldn’t understand our worldview more and the teachers could. After we made this it was time to present it in a circle. This was a good assignment. 

MY REFLECTION:

I think I did pretty good on this assignment i put a lot of my thoughts into it and i worked hard. This is one thing i am very proud of. Probably the best thing i made or one of the best. Some categories I struggled with but others i had a lot of ideas. Something I don’t think I did very well was I  rambled and started repeating myself but other than that i think it was good.

THE SONG

Last comes the most important part. This was the end result the end ending. We had to take the song It’s The End Of The World As We Know It and remix it to match with our worldview going into high school. We worked on our lyrics for a while not knowing that we would be having to sing it and turn it into a music video posted on YouTube. The process began with recording the song and editing it. Next was finding photos and making a music video. That was a long process that took a few weeks. The next part was posting it on YouTube and making tweaks. I think the hardest part of this process was having the outrage to sing in front of other people and having your singing be public. 

REFLECTION:

I think i did pretty good on this overall. I sang my part and made the music video. My group worked well together all giving each other confidence to sing. We were able to finish it before the due date and make all the edits we needed which was important. What we could work on was communicating more over the weekends trying to figure everything out with where our group was at. Other than that i think our group did pretty well.

This was a great project with many different worldviews and struggles along the way. Reading the outsiders showed us sacrifice and love. It was a very good book and movie too.
