Small but mighty

After learning about the organelles, cells, observing bacteria, researching vaccines, and making ads, I am done

So I started this project called small but mighty started back in April, right after spring break. Which was a very sad day for me. Now the driving questing for this project is. “How does our knoledge of cell biology contribute to public health.

What we have been doing

One of the first things we did was research the organelles, which are the inner guts of a cell. Then we had to make a presentation on a select organelle. I did the cell membrane and cytoplasm with Gemma. We had present our knoledge on those organelles in front of the class. Now I think this was the coolest thing and the most disgusting thing we did was swabbing surfaces of bacteria. The results are pretty disgusting.

My Immune system cards

We also had to draw the immune cells as charicters. Like I did them as people in a police force. I dont think it was too creative, but my brain was not braining that day. I kinda enjoyed doing this activity in class and I think the drawings turned out decent but I am not the best drawer.

My ad campaigns

For my ad campaigns,we had to choose a topic that we are going against. I chose going against the conspiracy theory that the Covid vaccines had microchips in them. We had to research our topic and use our knoledge to reason and make our claim. We also had to learn about opinion a nd bias. Bias is an opinion on something is either good or bad. The thing could be terrible. But you still have a positive bias towards it.

Reflection

So I think for this project I did pretty well, like the last project about mind over matter. I knew quite a lot about of the stuff that was being taught to me. I think I did observing my bacteria petri disheds. I made detailed observations for each and every one of them. Now I think I did good on the charicter cards, like the police theme I did on all of them. Now however, If I had gone back in time. I would have chosen something more creative. So overall, I think I did well on this project.
