Hello everyone! This blog post will is all about how we can use the camera app on our devices to do miraculous things, but first I must answer a question. The question at hand is how might I use the still image to create and communicate through technology? My answer would be to quote Fred R. Barnard, “ a picture is worth a thousand words” and I couldn’t agree more. You see, when I take a photo, you might see it a specific way, but if you ask someone else, they’ll probably have a different view. That automatically creates a connection of interest between two people. By using your camera and sharing your photo, you can create an aspect of communication between people all over the globe who share an interest in your photo. With the help of social media, many people similar to you can interact and share their ideas with others. That’s how you create and communicate through technology.
The 3 skills I found the most useful were pano, the filters and markup. Pano is useful for when you want to get the bigger picture of well, the picture. It multiplies the photo by 2, capturing everything around you. I use filters in most my photos, and they are a lifesaver. When your photos don’t come out as bright or colourful as you hoped, you just brighten it right up with on of the many filters that are available. And last is markup, it can take your photo from plain to amazing in just a few seconds. All you need to do is draw on what’s missing from your photo, and it transforms it into just that! All these tools are available on the camera app, and they are what help me make the best photos!
