Reflective Blog Post

During our presentation, I heard a lot of positive reviews from family and friends saying that the opening was really good and we should keep it the same.

Construction:

Our first design involved a laser that would shoot from a floating Death Star. It was built too extravagantly and didn’t really work, so we sized it down quite a bit. We spent a lot of time trying to put legs on it, but they did not work. (We are going to get legs on it for provincials).

Story Making:

During the story brainstorm segment of the story, we quickly came up with the Star Wars idea. We came up with the concept and kind of put it on the back burner. So by the end, we really had to expand the story.

Costumes:

Our costumes weren’t finished and were super rushed, which made it harder to do the acting because they kept getting in the way. Even if we just had a safety pin to hold the cloaks together, it would have been a lot better.
