So, we have finished our project and it is fully functional. However it turns out that our misery is not over because apparently our project looks like a random assortment of construction garbage. We really need to spend the next class spray painting and touching up the rougher parts of the machine.

(Continued) Today we did spray paint the machine and it looks a whole lot better. We sprayed the base black then added the colours we needed for metaphors. We also filmed a test run and it works successfully when someone holds a piece in place. We plan to permanently attach the piece next class.

One thing I would change about our project is the aesthetics of it. Even though the paint made it look better, it isn’t the best it could be. We also need to add some more metaphors because that’s the point of the project, to show our understanding of the revolution not how to saw.
