Peas in a (Pod)cast Reflection

At the very beginning, we started to work on our podcast idea. We had lots of practice in the region of podcast elements, so we were able to hop started straight into our script creation process. Our podcast topic was about a story that we had, and after much debating I decided to do my podcast on visiting family over Christmas, and the twists and turns that came with it. Once I had my main idea I made a very rough skeleton draft, with the main sections included, and also some simple sound effects. Then with the skeleton script done, I turn it into a full script, which I will have embeded below.

With the script completed I started Recording. Every time that I have had a Podcast, I have always taken a long time to record. I end up spending a lot of time procrastenating and overthinking the Recording process, but this time I was a lot fastet, and im super happy about that. I believe that the increase in Speed came from a point of esse, as I had a Details script that would help me in the Recording process. Then I spent some time in Post prod, to add my Ambient music, and my sound effects. Then all that was left to do was make a cover and publishing to Spotify for podcasters.

The thing that I could have improved most on is like always my time management. It would have been best if I had given myself 1 week more time for everything, as it just makes the stress and workload easier. However I am pretty happy with how I was able to improve on my recording speed, and will use what I learned to further improve for future podcasts. I enjoyed this project as it gave us more freedom over topic, and found it to be pretty balanced considering we had DI in the middle of it.
