Canada is turning 150 this year, so there is a bunch of little events going on. This here is a video submission where people all around Canada sends a video of what Canada means to them. So our PLP class individually submitted a video. With $3000 for the winner there is going to be lots of unique and interesting videos.

What does your Canada mean to you? Because to me it meant multiple different things. It was hard to choose my topic because there are so many things that Canada means to me, but I wanted to stick to the amazing Canadian nature.

I decided that my Canada reminded me of my dad. To me my dad has the most Canadian job. He is an arborist, which is is a professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the cultivation, management, and study of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants. People think of him as a lumberjack, but arborists have to study every tree inside and out. Arborist not only cut trees down, but take care of them, make them healthier so that they can live longer.

Last year I got a job working with my dad at his company. So I got to take some videos and pictures of the cool stuff that goes on, which really helped me out on making this video. I made an iMovie with some pictures I grabbed off the Internet that was non plagiarized, a short clip during the work time, and my soothing voice describing what Canada means to me in a voice over. Below is my video I hope you enjoy
