This is a picture of the coolest drum set! This set although not as complex as some other drum sets, is the coolest in my opinion because it belongs to me. This is my very own drum set and it means a lot to me.
There are many types of drums and symbols on a drum set.
Low Tom: Bigger version of a Mid and high Tom. Has a deeper sound.
Bass Drum: Played with a foot pedal. Biggest drum, and has the deepest sound. It’s very heavy so its usually located on the floor.
Snare drum: Has “snares” on the bottom of the drum. Snares little metal wires that create the classic snare drum sound. The snares can be turned on and off but sound better on.
Hi Hat: Is made up of two symbols, can be played when the symbols are opened or closed. Sounds vary from opened to close.
Crash symbol: A singular symbol that makes a CRASH sound. Very loud and it rings
High Tom: Small drum highest pitch drum on the set.
Mid Tom: Middle pitch drum. Also located in the middle.
Each instrument in the set has a different function. By themselves, they can be kind of boring, but when put together, they can combine into amazing things. This drum set is the coolest to me because it is a great learning tool that I can use to explore my interests.
