We were assigned a business to create an ad for while we were in Oregon. My group Meg,Thomas,Ben and Jude interviewed and designed ads for Clarks Restaurant a nice diner with amazing food. When we interviewed a lady who worked at Clarks she told us Clarks is a safe happy family oriented place. For my ad I decided to use a pathos appeal (an appeal to emotion) to get potential customers attention. I started making drafts in Oregon but was struggling to create unique and all around good ads. When I got back from Oregon I started to have some ideas. In the end I decided on the ad that I felt represented Clarks the best. My ad I had drawn showcased a couple when they were younger and older drinking Clarks Restaurants milkshakes. My first draft was okay but I knew I could have improved Mrs. Willemse suggested I changed the background and experimented with the slogan my second and third drafts were pretty similar I improved the background and added a witty slogan for my third draft I experimented with some pictures of items that Clarks had in their restaurant to fit the theme but the pictures still looked out of place. For my final draft I gave the pictures borders and added some extra effects to my ad as a final touch. I really enjoyed working on my ad and think I’ve improved since my deep cove ad (https://www.blog44.ca/kaiar/2018/10/25/my-deep-cove-ad-experience/) thanks for reading Hasta La Vista ,Kaia
