How to create a D&D character

First you will need character sheets to put your character on, a characters guide to help, a set of roleplaying dice, and a pencil. First you will need to choose a race and if their are sub races chose it. Each race has its perks and disadvantages. For example i recently made a Dragonborn because when you get to level 14 you can sprout dragon wings at will but if your armour is not made to do that it is destroyed.

Next choose a class, their are many including sorcerer, rouge, and fighter. Certain races are also more suited to certain classes and will have an advantage compared to other races. The Dragonborn I recently made was a sorcerer because their elemental bloodlines power can give them the power that a sorcerer has in a more understandable reason behind its nature and strength.

After that you will role your ability scores. Each role is a 4d6 that only uses 3 of the roles. A 4d6 means role a 6 sided dice 4 times but because you only use 3 add the best together and thats your first score that you then do it 5 more time till you have 6 ability scores to use. choose which ability score it goes in. Each class also has its recommendations on what to put your best roles in.

Here are online and on paper characters I created and the dice set I use.

Then determine your skill modifiers with skill mods. After that you choose your background and alignment then role your personalities, ideals, bonds and flaws with your d8 (8 sided die). Next add your your features and traits. Then move on to your second page. Consult with your DM if you need to fill in allies, enemy, and organizations if you chose a background that involved it. Next create your unique back story. Then use your 2 d10 to roll for a trinket, o and 2 0s =100 on trinket roles and any rolls that involve both 10 sides dice. Then fill in height, weight, age, hair colour, skin colour and eye colour. Then choose spells if needed and wright in correct slots depending on level. You’re done and are ready to begin the endless hours of fun ahead.

May the rolls be in your favour….
