Over the course of the last few weeks we have been learning about the trigonometry ratios.

We were tasked with creating a solar panel at an angle that the most ideal for the area we were studying. Our location we choose was manhattan. Using the calculations in the below photo we calculated the angle that would collect the most energy through the year was 59 degrees. From there it was simple to use trigonometry to solve the lengths and ratios of every side.
