For this exhibition we had to make a group machine based on our revolution, my revolution was the Haitian revolution. We were in a group of 7 people to build our machine and make our documentation about the history of our revolution and the process of building the machine. We had to work with the time we had to finish the build, we had to make lots of changes from our initial design and had to worked till the last minute. In the end our machine didn’t completely work and we had to fix a lot on the day of exhibition. Each part of the machine had to have a metaphor relating to that part in the history of the revolution. We followed Crane Brinton idea of revolutions, including incubation stage, moderate stage, crisis, stage and recovery stage. I quite enjoyed this project and learning about my revolution, it was a bit stressful at parts but we got though it and i am very happy with our outcome.
