So far this year we have done lots of projects that were very interesting and different and I have learned a lot. One project that i was the most proud of was my metaphor machine, i say this because my group and i all put a lot of work in to it and have many challenges during the process, having to almost change our whole machine last minute. I am really proud of the hard work and dedication we had to that project.
So far in this year i have had many struggles with projects and other stuff but i. Believe that these struggles came from a lack of preparation and not jumping on opportunities that i had to get a jump start. I believe that I didn’t quite reach the level i wanted to get to was because of a lack of motivation and passion for what we were doing and not quite understanding why we are learning that. One of my goals for the rest of the year is to have more dedication to my work and put more effort into all the things that i do.
I believe that I have improved from the start of the year because i have learned a lot more that can help me so much and i know lots of strategies and ways to help me out. One of the biggest thing that i think i need to work on is time management and using all the tools that i have in my disposal. Another one of my goals is to work on my communication and get what’s in my head out, trying to add more to the conversation at head and add what i think about the topic, putting what i am thinking in to words.
In my learning plan that we did at the start of the year my biggest goal was to get my work on time for the deadline and at a proficient level. I also talked about working on reflecting on my work and others, i still need to work on this a decent amount. Another goal i still need to work on is balancing my school and personal life, for a while i had it down but now i am doing much more sports and I noticed how much harder it makes it. I also believe that i need to work on asking more questions when i am confused or don’t quite understand the project, activity, or question.
The class that i enjoyed the most would have to be maker. Making all of the short films and all the stuff similar to that were all very interesting and super fun to make. I especially enjoyed our trip too Alberta, all of the projects at we did there and all the locations that we visited we super interesting and i had so much fun learning all about the history of all the places that we went too. Our most recent super big project was DI, it was honestly a lot of fun and it helped with my team work and my ability with quick thinking. It was a very different process than what i was used to but it was very interesting and fun.
From what we have done so far this year i am happy with how far i have came but this is still lots of room for improvement, growth and new ideas, i am ready to see where the rest of the year takes me. Thank you for listening.
