King’s Log, Day 35 – 38

Day 35.

I’m lost. I’ve been king for 35 days, and already people are upset. I’ve already heard rumours that the peasants and shop keepers have allied to try and form an army. I’m hoping that these are just rumours, but if they aren’t, I’m going to need advice from the nobility. I want to make the living conditions better for the lower classes.

Day 36.

Today, one of the people from the nobility has come to my aid. She suggested that I get rid of their tax, and allow chairs to be sold in the market. Later in the day, I promoted one of the peasants to one of the nobility. The news reports are starting to get on my nerves though. Every day, they have the same stupid message about how the king is great as a propaganda to make people believe their lies. I’ll need to deal with that.

Day 37.

Disease has struck. I have received a message from the Univers that I need to hire people to create a cure. I have decided to use all of the tax money to try and fund the production of the cure. As for who to hire, I was going to be strategic and hire people from all different classes, but was rushed into just hiring all peasants that weren’t sick by the nobility. The nobility is taking too much control, and there are things about this nation that they don’t know, making them unfit to rule. I must stop listening to my adviser in the nobility.

Day 38. The day nation KingCool fell.

I’m not sure how I’m writing this, as I am dead, but here is what happened. I decided that the peasants I’d originally promoted to the nobility should be my guard personal guard. The disease is getting worse. The death toll is higher than it should be. The nobility is also not happy with me. They think that I should do more. But there isn’t much that I can do. One of the growing problems is that a lot of people are defecting to the evil nation Y. I also suspect many of the peasants are gathering weapons. Eventually, the nobility and police storm the castle. Because of our personal guard, we survived the attack, but with our major line of defence down, we must ally with the presents to save our nation. I sent other members of the clergy to hire the remaining peasants to help us fight. Then we were attacked. I’m not sure if we were attacked by just nation Y, or them with our own peasants, but there were too many of them. I managed to kill many of there soldiers, but eventually one of the nation Y soldiers killed me. There were little survivors of the attack, none of them high class. KingCool had fallen.
