You might be asking yourself, what is a Pre-POL. A better question is why. That’s the question I ask myself. Remember that blog that I did about a T-POL a while ago, or the one about the M-POL. Both of there were my Gr 9 presentations of learning. Well now I’ve been told to do another. What makes a Pre-POL different to the other ones is that while in the past, they were used to reflect on how you’ve done, a Pre-POL is used to see the future. “But Luca”, you might be asking yourself, “wouldn’t your Pre POL be the exact same as your T-POL last year.” That’s what I (and my entire class) asked myself when I was told I had to do this. But seen as I have to do this, here we go.
The mane question that this blog is going to answer is: What strategies can I use to maintain balance in my life and support my own well being? One of the things that I can do to show how I’ve done this is by showing a cool program I use to remind me of what to do.
This program is called Things and it’s a great tool to help get things done. You see that little circled thing in the picture. That’s for you. That’s this blog, isn’t that cool.
Another thing that I do to keep balance in my life is to set limits for myself, so that I’m not doing too much homework, but also not to many video games. I think that with all of this combined, I’m bringing balance to my life and I’m supporting my own well being.
The last thing that I wanted to talk about in this blog is how I can improve my learning habits. One of the things that I struggle with the most in school is handing in my homework assignments on time. I often find my self doing an assignment 3 days after it was due, and that is the biggest problem I have in school. I’ve noticed that this year I have been doing 10 times better at handing in assignments by using the strategies I talked about above, but I still have a long way to go.
But until my next post, see ya.
