Let’s take down a government

Based off this title, you may be asking, who are we over throwing. That’s the wrong question. You should be asking, who DID we overthrow. The answer would depend on what group you were in, but it would have been one of the 4 big revolution, The French Revolution, The America Revolution, The October Revolution […]

Videography

For this project, we had to make different videos, and we learned about goal setting. All of this was to answer our driving question, How might I use video skills to tell my story? I think the answer to this is, you can tell a story through film in a variety of different ways, like having […]

King’s Log, Day 35 – 38

Day 35. I’m lost. I’ve been king for 35 days, and already people are upset. I’ve already heard rumours that the peasants and shop keepers have allied to try and form an army. I’m hoping that these are just rumours, but if they aren’t, I’m going to need advice from the nobility. I want to make […]

A Sword (good for hitting things)

For my latest scimatics project, I had to create a 3D object in an app called Tinkercad, calculate the surface area and volume of my design and figure out the ratio of it. I decided to make a sword, mainly because when I was messing around with the app, I ended up putting shapes in the shape of a sword. My sword is composed of: Rectangular prism x1, Cylinder x1, Sphere x3, Hemispheres x2, Triangular prism x2, Pyramid x1 and looks like this. The first thing that we had to learn was how to calculate the different volumes and surface areas. Here are some formulas.
After we learned our formulas, we had to learn how to use the app: Tinkercad. It was actually quite easy to use. It’s pretty much just drag and drop.

Thats it for now. Comment things that you would like me to make with Tinkercad.
Bye.

Small Things

(I think I fell asleep when I was supposed to be writing this. Or at least I was going to. Then I came up with this brilliant sentence). For this project we learned about atoms and coding. The goal was to creat a game on scratch that represented the kinetic molecular theory and the atomic […]

The Past to Present.

For this project, we had to create a triptych, but that wasn’t where it started. The first thing that we did was learn about a timeline of the most important things in the Renaissance area. Then we learned how to tell which of these is the most significant by learning about historical significance. Historical significance […]

There are 5 challenges: the improvisational challenge, the fine arts challenge, the scientific challenge, the engineering challenge and the technical […]
