Hello blog readers,
This weeks Edublogs challenge we had a choice to blog about anything we like. Anything that interests us. I’m interested in figure skating so I’m going to talk about that.
Figure skating is a winter sport that is for performing on ice with figure skates. This sport can be done individually, in duos, or groups. Figure
skating is a sport that will get you in the Olympics. In my opinion Sonja Henie is the best skater. She was a three time Olympic champion in ladies single. She’s brings a lot of inspiration to a lot of my friends and I when we are on the ice.
Tricks and spins are one of my favourite things to do while skating. Currently I’m learning how to do my axel. I’m on level bronze right now and I have an hour and half of skating on ice and one hour off ice. This is twice a week so it’s not that much work.
Figure skating is a big part of my life now and one of my favourite things to do. Comment below what’s your favourite thing to do!

Hi Melika!
How beautiful is your favourite thing to do! Figure Skating is very rare in my country, as we don’t have real snow or ice, although some of my students may go to some special and very expensive schools that have ice rinks.
At home, when I was young, my father and I would interrupt our meals just to get closer to the tv and didn’t lose a move, whenever the Figure Skating Olympics were streaming.
Figure Skating is like poetry made flesh; is more near to real flying than any dance; it’s a powerful expression of our secret soul.
You asked your readers to comment on what’s our favourite thing to do: nowadays, I would say one of my favourite occupations is to write and to write with my students. They come to our writing workshop, sometimes with an intuition, sometimes looking for suggestive prompts, but their simple presence is so mysterious and enjoyable that it immediately inspires me.
Congratulations on your amazing Figure Skating practice, Melika! I wish you are also enjoying this beautiful Challenge that brings human hearts together and spreads seeds of Peace in the World.
