This is the cover of my ww1 comic book. You can read the whole thing in my tPol blog post here.
In the project we presented in this years spring exhibition, we learned about comics and how to construct them, we learned about the different types of panels that help show images and ways to put text in the book to show thoughts, speech, narration, labels, and yelling vs whispering. This helped me to figure out different ways to illustrate my story and make it more interesting for people who read it.
We could’ve been more organized before hand, we had trouble finding our comics, there were problems with printing them and some people werent finished and had to print their own. Even though students should be more responsible with their work I think we could’ve started this project earlier so we had more time to work on our end product. I handed mine in late and barely made the print.
Even though I didnt get to stay for the whole Exhibition I got to see the process in which builds up to it, setting up, getting organized, and finding your space where you’ll be presenting. Â
