Whike on my trip through the Deep South *insert link to south post* I visited many outstanding restaurants, but one specific restaurant stood out to me. That restaurant was Monell’s Dining and Catering. Monell’s is a family style dining restaurant in a Victorian style mansion that opened back in 2011.

This was my first experience in a family style restaurant, and I greatly enjoyed it. In case you are not familiar with what family style dining is, you’re in luck. I created a short video on the importance of family style dining in a community.

I modelled the style of this video after CNN’s Great Big Story’s series, instead calling mine a Little Big Story. CNN creates amazing short videos on topics most of the public does not know about. Check out some of CNN’s great big story’s here.

To get the final product of my Little Big Story, I went through multiple drafts. Four to be exact. The first draft of my video is extremely different from my final version, as I went through an immense amount of revision.
