This year has been filled with manny projects and assignments that I have enjoyed and done well in, but there have also been a few I could have improved. An example of a piece of work that I feel wasn’t to my personal standered was my final Blue Sky Project. Please read my Blue Sky blog post before continuing.
This year I created a bicycle helmet visor that was detachable and adjustable. I often forget my bicycle glasses at home, and with this visor was meant to solve that problem. I will now explain the reason I do not feel self-satisfied with my project.
Last year I created an under water remotely controlled submarine with a camera that played a live feed of what the submarine saw. This project took many hours to create, and I put a lot of hard work into it. I was extremely proud with the outcome of last years blue sky project.
This year, I didn’t put the same amount of hard work into my project. While presenting my project last year, many people were extremely amazed with what I created, but this year I had a different response. My project didn’t deliver the same wow-effect as my project did last year.
Last years Blue Sky,
If I could improve my project right now, I would have made something completely different. The concept of my idea was much more simple than I thought it would be, and I would have appreciated a greater challenge. Our Blue Sky project theme this year was meant to focus on the design process we went through while resting them. I did not go through as immense of a design process as I would have liked to.
This has been an example of work that k wish I could have improved this year.
