Reflection of the Year

This year in PLP has been my second in the program. PLP has changed my life in so many ways. The way I think and proccess ideas has evolved in this program exceptionally. This year has brought me a lot of great opportunities such as Destination Imagination and various field studies.

This year has also been the best year academically wise since I came to high school. My goals since last year was to achieve Honor Roll with Distinction, as last year all I got was Honorable mention. With that motivating me along with my teachers and parents, I was able to achieve it with even more.

This year has taught me so much. The civil rights movement, gold rushes, Chinatown, and especially writing. My writing has improved to amounts I would have never beilived. At the beginning of the year, I was just writing at an average level. Thanks to the help of my teachers, my writing has improved so greatly that I got the Junior English Award. I didn’t even know what the award meant when I first received it, and thought I was in trouble when I saw Mrs. Willemse handing it to me at the Recognition Night.

Looking back, this year was by far the greatest year I’ve had in school. Getting closer with my teachers, learning about history, writting, and having fun in class has made this year one that I will remember for a long time. I would very much like to thank my teachers Mrs. Willemse and Mr. Hughes for making everything that’s happend this year, last, and next year happen.
