This was my first DI tournament and it went how I expected. It could of gone much worse, but that doesn’t mean that it was perfect. There is still room for me and my group to grow in order to prepare for Provincials. 

There were some things that went better then others like our presentation, and improv skills. Our machine didn’t work as well as we hoped so we have to improvise and try to turn the focus from the machine and turn it to the story. Our presentation went much better then I thought it would. We were able to get all our lines memorized, and there wasn’t much stuttering or weird pauses. 

The process of making our machine and presentation was split up into three categorizes with me and Adam doing the machine, Ronan and Callum working on the story, and Monica and Mackenzie working on the props. There was some carry over with people working on things they weren’t fully working on, but the more the merrier. Everyone had something to work on so we didn’t need to worry as much about someone doing nothing. 

 

All in all, I think we did good, and I have, great teammates to do the next compétions with.
