Yo yo yo, its your healthy brethren, Nikan! As per usual, another project has finished over here in PLP. In science, we’ve finished a project called ‘Small and Mighty’ (victory fanfare). We learned about germs, vaccines, and how our body fights against nasty fellows. At the end of this project, we were to make a public health poster, which will be hanging at Eastview elementary. It is pictured below. It is supposed to teach kids, who aren’t very educated, about how they can stay safe. We were also to use drawing by kids, which you can see on the wall in mine.
Driving question: How can our knowledge of cell biology contribute to public health?
Well, with our knowledge, we can keep everyone else- the public -healthy. We can practice good health habits, and educate people on how they can stay safe, as I am doing now. The best way to keep yourself ad others healthy, is that- good habits, and teach others.
Overall, I enjoyed this project (per usual). I really liked being able to use my creativity on the poster, and I have really been enjoying going into science everyday.
Thank you, and stay safe 👍
