Hi my name is Rhadan as you may know me, and here is why I KNOW I am ready to take on my next adventure in grade 9 PLP! I believe I have shown growth in class for my listening skills. Obviously I’m not perfect yet, sometimes I create a disturbance HOWEVER, when I said on my mpol that I wanted to get better I knew it wouldn’t be over night. If you compare how I am in class now it is a significant improvement to the previous semester and I know for a fact I will only grow from my current standpoint. 

Another thing I noticed from my previous semester is my will to show up. Obviously not literally show up but now when I go to class I give it my attention and effort and my minds focus. There is always room for improvement as sometimes my body isn’t the same place as my mind is, however I have started to enjoy what we are practicing and experiencing much more and that has therefore helped me to stable my mindset and learning ability.

When I used to see that revision symbol, I used to think along the lines of there’s another thing I did wrong that I have to redo. However now I see it as a learning opportunity and when I see that symbol I know I can improve my skills in different areas, this new mindset has made me see that symbol much less.

So I believe I have improved majorly from the previous semester, for example (show mind maps) the one from the first semester took me a day, the current semester’s mind map took me about 10 to 15 minutes. This is not because I was rushed, it was quite the opposite. I had no urgency to finish and when my mind was in that state I just put down how I believe I would be able to efficiently describe some of the key points in making an advertisement and I was not stuck once. This is a small example however having the power to do little things like this efficiently means my long run will be even stronger and improve my work ethic as a whole.
