Super Heroes!!!!!

Great, now that I have your attention I can tell you about the super awesome project we’re doing in science class. This project is based around the periodic table and all it’s glory.

About a week ago, me and my class started on a science project in which we had to create a super hero based on an element of the periodic table.

To decide the groups for this project our teacher gave us a choice: let her decide the groups or let us decide the groups.

Which one did we choose?

After some time, we elected someone in the class to pick the groups for us.

I was put in a group with Sam and Quinn.

We then had to draw a team logo and it was inspired by our team’s love of biking.

Then we picked an element to focus our project on.

We picked neon because its an element that doesn’t usually get much attention so we thought it would be interesting.

Neon is used in signs and other things.

Then we made a periodic table poster. This poster shows all the elements and how to categorize them.

The hardest part in making this table was populating all the boxes – and there are a lot!

Thats about how far we are into our project.
