Guess who? It’s Dent and welcome back into my head. Lately in the PLP classroom we have been learning about myths and ancient civilizations and as you know at the end of every “online class” we have a major project and this one is a quilt! Over the last few weeks we have been making our civilization birth story and hero and ours is Lisa.
Quilt First Draft
My group’s hero is Lisa, she is an average 20 year old that countinusly has a nightmare of the sun blowing up and scorching the entire earth! This nightmare continues to happen until she thinks I will happen. So she takes action and begins to try and build a floating space city for her to live on and take people to a different planet called Gliese 581 (real planet with water like earth). After a while she gets lonely and is scared leaving alone, so she goes out and finds people to help her. After building most of the city they decide to test out the generators, doing to they fatally injure Lisa and she dies, but before her funeral was held she was revived as a Goddess and that is where my square begins.
