Hey guys and welcome back into my head. This post is for SLCs or Student Led Conferences. In this post we are supposed to choose a piece of work to represent your learning so far. Here are my representations?
My first representation is about a piece of work that I'm proud of namely my Destination Imagination project. At first I didn't really care, but after we started working hard on it I started to enjoy myself. We overcame many challenges and made me and my team feel great when we heard we won 3rd.
My second representation is about work that shows I am a growth learner. That would be my Quilt project. My group and I worked hard to put a story together and then into the images for the quilt and then quilting them. The story probably took the longest time, but since then if I have an idea to base it on I could get a good story in 10 minutes instead of a class or two. The images were easy which made them need to be of higher quality. Then comes the quilting. Honestly it was painful because of how tough the fabric paper was. We had to watch videos on how to quilt correctly and we all picked it up quickly.
My third and last one is about showing your growth mindset and here we go back to the Destination Imagination project, honestly it could be all three, but that would be boring. This project represents this well because despite messing up or not wanting to do it for starter I didn't give up and stop trying to get to the provincials. It also gay me a lesson that if you try hard it always pays off.
And with that my SLC is over any questions or comments please put below. Bye bye!
