Last block in science class we did a lab where we burned a compound and made the flame green. We started with a bottle of CopperChloride.   We measured out 400 ml of Water and put in the CopperChloride. We then put some aluminum foil in and it started burning. We poured out all the liquid into a bucket and left the remaining copper. We then poured in water multiple times to clean the copper, powering out the liquid each time. We then added some Hydrochloride Acid to the water and put the solid lumps on to a pepper towel. We lit a Bunsen burner on fire and put some of the solid on it and the fire turned green.
