Recently in Scimathics we have been working on chemistry. For our final project in the unit we were put into groups and were tasked with making a super hero.

Our super hero had to be based off of one element in the periodic table, my group picked Hydrogen. We picked Hydrogen because it was lighter than air so it could fly, and it was flammable. Once we picked our element we had to come up with a team name and a patch for it. Our team is The Mixtapes. Here is our patch:

One other thing we had to do is draw a periodic table on a big poster and highlight 2 of the elements we were considering the most. The ones that were highlighted had to have some physical and chemical properties written down. We had Hydrogen, and Francium. Here is our Periodic Table:

So far my group has been working well and this project has been quite fun. I will probably be writing another blog post on this when we are finished as we are only about halfway done. So expect another post pretty soon.
