The first semester this year is done and it’s time for me to reflect back on my growth and learning so far this school year, it’s time for another Mpol (midyear presentation of learning.) so far this year I have done 2 and a half projects and I would like to tell you how I grew during those and how I will continue to improve for the rest of the year. 

My goal at the beginning of the year was to use and improve my communication skills this goal was really influenced by the loon lake trip last year, that trip as I mention in my grade 10 Tpol was really meaningful for my learning. 

Communication is something I have struggled with for a long time and I still struggle a lot with it but this year I have been putting in a lot of work in school and outside to improve. During the Manhattan project and the winter exhibition I feel I did really well with my growth in that skill. It might not seem like much to some people but if you know me you know this was growth. I communicated with my teacher more than usual during the Manhattan project. 

For the winter exhibition I did a lot in that project and I did stuff that makes me nervous unfortunately I don’t think I improved much how I wanted to on communication but that is ok because I still have time to improve. even if I didn’t grow with my communication I did something else that makes me go out of my comfort zone, presenting in front of a large group. 

Since I have a lot of room for growth I still want to work on my communication when I can but I want to work on something else for the next couple months as well, I want to work on my presenting and public speaking, I want to really build my confidence in that area of learning.  thanks for reading about my learning experience so far this year🧡
