There is a variety of positions available across all of our departments, ranging from Rides & Guest Service Attendants to Licensed Beverage Servers & Gaming Staff (19+).

What we are looking for:

Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated team players

Individuals who provide exceptional and friendly guest service

Individuals who work well in fast-paced environments

Cash handling experience is considered an asset

Experience in dealing with the public is considered an asset

Previous volunteer/work experience in a guest service based environment is considered an asset Must be at least 15 years of age or older by May 30 2017 in order to be eligible for the Games and Food and Beverage Department

Must be at least 16 years of age or older by May 30 2017 in order to be eligible for the Rides Department

Camp Ignite 2017

Camp Ignite is a four-day camp that educates and inspires young women to follow their dreams.
The camp is open to girls in grades 11-12 (ages 16-18), and gives them an introduction to the world of firefighting. Each girl will learn about fitness, nutrition, health and teamwork.
This years camp runs from Aug. 10-13/17.

Firefighter Career Day (May 10, 2017)

Fire Fighter Career Day for Grade 11 & 12 students interested in firefighting (May 10, 20117)! Guest speakers provide an overview of the District of North Vancouver Fire Department including training, educational, and physical requirements. The afternoon will be hands-on training & demonstrations, for example, trying on firefighter suits & protective equipment; entering a smoke-filled building; rappelling from the tower; snorkel & hazardous material demo; trying out the aerial truck; hose work; auto extraction; and using fire extinguishers! Guaranteed to be a great day!

Volunteers Needed for Indigenous Youth Program!

Burnaby Village Museum is looking for passionate and energetic Indigenous student volunteers to support their educational programs this spring (May-June). Student volunteers will work with Indigenous educator to provide fun, interactive learning activities for children on local Coast Salish history and culture at Burnaby Village Museum. UBC Physics Summer Camp Needs Volunteers!

 

 

UBC Department of Physics and Astronomy is running their annual Phenomenal Physics Summer Camp again this year and require volunteers to help! Volunteers will assist camp teachers and leaders in running activities, setting up and cleaning up before and after activities, interacting with and supervising campers, and helping to maintain a safe and positive camp environment!
Eligible volunteers are currently in or completing grades 10-12.
