Renaissance influenced western worldview visual

A few weeks ago we were tasked with finding three people from the Renaissance, a thinker, an artist and a scientist or mathematician. With these people we had to make a triple Venn diagram to show their differences and similarities. The people I chose were Pope pious the second who was a thinker, Masaccio who was an architect (this is in the field of artists) and Evangelist Torricelli who was a scientist and mathematician. This assignment lead into a key art visual project where we had to take all the similarities between the three people that we came up with in the Venn diagram and make an art piece consisting of what they have in common.

Here is my Venn Diagram with all the information about the thinker, the artist and the mathematician and scientist.

With this information I came up with I found some similarities between the people such as they all lived in Italy and they were not from noble families.

This was my very first draft I came up with:

This was my second draft:

This is my final draft:

Here is the meaning of each part of the art:
The Italian flag in the shape of Italy represents that they were all Italian.
The cross represents that they were all Christian.
The crossed off crest represents that their families were not noble families.
The child and adult hands holding represent that two out of the three people that I researched adopted a child.
The books represent that they all went to some form of school.
