This post is the fourth post in the little blog post series that I’m doing. This time like I promised in my last post I will be talking about something other than Percy Jackson. This time I’ll be talking about a book series called Divergent it’s another book that is quite different from its movie. I’m going to focus mainly on the second book called Insurgent. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE DIVERGENT SERIES BY VERONICA ROTH!
Hi everyone so this is the third blog post in the little series thing that I’m doing. This one is about a drawing that I created because in class we were talking about copyright stuff. Because the topic I chose is kind of difficult to draw so I decided that I would kind of continue my last blog post in a way.
Hi everyone today I’m doing another geek out blog post. Today I’m doing a review and comparison of the Percy Jackson books and movies written by Rick Riordan. The series is very long so I’ll only be doing the first book today which is called the lightning thief. Also I’d like to add a SPOILER WARNING FOR PERCY JACKSON: THE LIGHTNING THIEF (book and movie).
If you want to read a synopsis of the book here it is: PJO book
If you want to read the synopsis of the movie here it is: PJO movie
This isn’t my usual kind of blog post. This post is one of many of my geek out blog posts. The topic I chose for this blog project is ‘my opinions on book vs movie adaptions.’ I’d like to preface this post by saying that these are my opinions and I would love to hear what you think about this topic.
Hello everyone! This is my second blog post for the Constructing Creative Communication project. I’ve already written one blog post for this project but that one was about my learning in the Carr section of this project which was about drawing and designing. This part of the project is about photography. In the last blog post about this project I talked about Emily Carr and drawing. But in this blog post I’m talking about Fred Herzog and photography.
Hi everyone! For this project PLP 8 was split into 2 groups one of them was Carr and the other was Herzog. I’m in Carr but I’ll most likely be making another post for Herzog when I’m finished that. Carr is all about drawing and learning how to use your Apple Pencil. Our driving question for both Herzog and Carr is “Why is it important to use technology to further improve our ability to communicate and to think creatively?”. In this project we used a book called ‘everyone can create drawing’ for the iPad to learn about a lot of the drawing skills I’m going to mention later on. We also used Sketches Pro for this project.
Hi everyone I’m back with my very first Scimatics blog post! For this project our driving question was: How does the movement of Earth’s tectonic plates cause observable changes and effects? I think I improved my understanding of this question by reading the texts books to help me learn about Earth’s tectonic plates. I also now know why Earthquakes, Volcanos etc… are caused. Throughout this project I worked with one other person and her name is Keira, her blog will be linked below. For this project we created a game, my partner and I decided to create a board game but I’ll talk more about it later in the post. The things we were evaluated on were the curricular competencies; Evaluating, Questioning and predicting, Understanding and solving.
Hey everyone! I’m here with another blog post. This one is for my first Maker project! It was super fun to learn more about our iPads and who we are as a PLP learner.
This is my first draft of my business advertisement
I got feedback that my first ad was too chaotic so I tried to organize it more
I got feedback that I needed to add some text
I was given feedback that I had too get rid of some photos because my ad was too crowded
I was told that my ad was still too crowded by photos and that I needed to centre my text
I was told that I needed to make the ‘come check it out’ should be in a bigger font
Hey everyone! I’m here to post about my first Humanities project. For this project our driving question was ‘how does what we see, here and read influence us?’
