Everyone has their local mountain. They know it like the back of their hand. Well I had no ideas for a blog post, so I thought I’d tell you about mine winter playground. I live super close to Mt. Seymour, and I said a little bit about it in my other posts, but I’ll go more in depth about it, or more specifically, it’s parks.
What parks are there?
My local mountain has 3 permanent parks and 2 part time parks. The part time ones are rarely ever built, so the main ones I will be writing here about, are the permanent ones. They are called Northlands, Rockstar and Mushroom. Rockstar and Northlands are on the main chair runs, and Mushroom is tucked away next to the magic carpet.
What can I find in each park?
Each park serves one very different purpose.
Northlands has two big kickers that never get taken down, and occasionally has some other jumps and rails sprinkled around. It needs a serious mass of snow to build those kickers, and a serious mass of skill to send em too.

Rockstar is a rail wasteland. The place is packed with rails that get changed around every so often. You can always try new lines, or new tricks there.

The last park is Mushroom. Mushroom is the beginner of the bunch. One side has two small kickers and the other has a variety of rails and boxes. Much better for learning new tricks to try in the other parks.
