This is my epic blog post part two, this time it is all about my quilt square and the process of creating it and what it represents. In my epic blog post part one it was all about the creation process of our story and how our civilization would get started. So, the first thing I did on this was try to get some ideas down of what I could do. What I came up with was everything to do with my part of the story, which was Isosceles and Yureka getting lost in the sewers. I decided to make my quilt square abstract, because that seemed to fit our story. The bottom part of my square is the sewers or underground of New York, I drew three circles that represent all the different ways that our characters could go. The question marks represent Isosceles and Yureka which are our characters. They are question marks because it shows that they don’t know what they are doing. The colours of them are blue for Isosceles because of his hair and a softer yellow colour for Yureka because of her kind nature. The pale white lines represent the ghost trails of them going in different directions. The top part of the square represents the skyline of New York and knowing what hat the characters will never find there way up there. On the square I tried to outline the most important parts, like the skyline and the question marks because those are the centre of my quilt square.
The Story of my Quilt square
In the line of our story my quilt square comes second. When our characters go down into the sewers it takes them hours to find the phone. They had drink dirty water and eat small plants. When they found it it was broken beyond repair and our characters were extremely sad and disappointed. They wasted no time and started going back the way they came. But they couldn’t figure out which way they had come. So they decide to go with there instincts and take a random way back. But this only led them deeper in to the sewers and soon they could not find a way out what so ever.
