Recently as part of our humanities course we have been learning all about WW2. We have been learning about many different parts of the war such as the Battle of Britain and Blitzkrieg. We have been learning about these subjects through many different perspectives such as the Germans and the British and it has been very fun to learn about. One of the tasks we had going through this unit was to read a book that was based in the time period of the war. We had several different choices and the book that I went with was called Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. This book was about he amazing story of an American soldier and all of the things he went through in his life. What we had to do once we finished the novel was write a book review on our thoughts of what we read. In short I loved this book and it was very interesting but I encourage you to read the review down below so you can get a better grasp of what kind of story it is.
